2025 McCormick Gold Rush Festival and Parade

45th McCormick Gold Rush Festival and Parade: My McCormick — A Moment in Time

Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Parade: Historic Downtown McCormick (Main Street) — 10:00 a.m., participants must be in place by 9:45 a.m.; participation is free, application deadline is September 12, 2025 
Festival: Mat Hardy Field (801 Carolina Street) — 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

Celebrate the return of our beloved community tradition as the Gold Rush Festival comes back this September! Stretching from charming Downtown McCormick to the lively Mat Hardy Field, this family-friendly event features a festive parade, children’s activities, music, vendors, food, and more. 

Theme: My McCormick: A Moment in Time — a tribute to McCormick’s rich diversity of cultures, beliefs, and ideals. Whether you join through the parade, sponsorship, or vendor participation, your involvement helps highlight the unique strengths of our community. 

Event Highlights:

  • Gold Rush Parade — kicks off downtown at 10 a.m. Free to join; participants must be in place by 9:45 a.m. Applications are due by September 12, 2025 

  • Festival at Mat Hardy Field — begins at 11 a.m. and brings together interactive fun for kids, live musical entertainment, delicious food, artisan vendors, and ways to connect with local groups and businesses (McCormick Gold Rush Festival, Fairs and Festivals).

  • Community-Focused Celebration — proceeds fund this year’s event and help plan future Gold Rush Festivals, ensuring this tradition endures for years to come (McCormick Gold Rush Festival).
